The CRREL polar research and engineering team is a diverse group of chemists, civil engineers, glaciologists, mechanical engineers, physical scientists, geophysicists, and physicists; all sharing a deep interest in the polar regions. We are often involved in cross-cutting interdisciplinary efforts bringing together teams of researchers and engineers, with diverse interests, all working towards a common goal.
